Ellen Ripley is dead. All that remains is a carbon replacement abomination that is subject to who knows what now if anything. Ripley got off rather easy. She didn't have to continue living in a universe where greed overruled human decency.

Well actually the main motive of Alien: Resurrection was to gain money through producing new vaccines etc as opposed to breeding and selling war machines. Its not that what they were doing was wrong, just the way they were doing it.

Probably has to do with the original plan where the queen embryo was in Newt, but upon the EEV crash and Newts death, the embryo crawled out of Newts mouth and into Ripley.

I don't really understand how the embryo crawled out of Newts mouth and into Ripley ? The embryo takes over the course of 1-24 hours (indeterminable in some cases, and sometimes up to a week, in the case of some queens); the embryo develops into a Chestburster, at which point it emerges, violently ripping open the chest of the host.

I would advice you all to read the Alien 3 novel by Alan Dean Foster to really know what happened as it's in more detail.
