I just feel like society is taught that Tall is better. Being called short/small is usually an  insult. Being called tall/big usually isn't. But fine i'll 'suck it up' as you say.   

Being tall isn't too fun either, you may be able to reach things and tower over people, but the ammount of times I've hit my head walking down the hall of my house...It gets old.

Astronauts, Fighter pilots, none of then can be too tall.
