if you bought a game and it had a massive game breaking glitch, but there was an easy work around you found online, would you not use it because "you shouldn't have to"

When it first happened though, I thought it was just a random glitch/bad luck. I did have other save points, but I wasn't willing to re-play hours of the game to get back up to where I was after it happened a second time. ..Well at least for a year or so.

that's fair enough, i had a similar experience with Brutal Legend, i still haven't completed it, i do have my last good save stored in 3 places though, just in case.
