I really need to give Dark Arisen a try, just a little put off by the leveling system in Dragons Dogma... I ended up with a Mystic Archer who could barely hurt anything because the stats grow differently with each Vocation, so you need to do them in a particular order before your chosen class.

Eh, min/maxing in Dogma isn't really necessary compared to something like Dark Souls. Plus you can always fill in vulnerabilities by hiring the right pawns. And if you're really stuck you can be a mystic knight, it's basically easy mode.
