Star Trek The Motion Picture.
Saw this film around 1981 or 1982 and loved it back then even as a 10 year old. It's where my love affair with the USS Enterprise started (she's still my all time favourite starship).

The film is long and quite slowly paced but the exploration of V'Ger always captivates me. I get most people prefer Wrath of Khan (which is a great film) given it's much more entertaining but this one still holds a place in my heart and always will.

The music is stellar especially the Klingon intro score.

"KIRK UNIT!!!"

So far I'd only recommend 3... and I suppose Retro Puppet Master is vaguely interesting in that it stars Mark from The Room and is partly responsible for that movie's existence.
So just #3 then? Excellent. Also, I can not help myself...

Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys

In which the puppets and toys fight for about a combined total of 45 seconds, and the rest of the movie consists of Corey Feldman embarrassing himself more than usual. This f**king blew, even by SyFy Channel and Full Moon standards.

Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines
Well what a piece of s**t this was. No wonder Declan O'Brien didn't come back for a fourth film. His three were B*****ks. Doug Bradley was th best thing in it, but that wasn't hard. The cast were all Brits, playing Americans, while filming in Eastern Europe, pretending to be America

Puppet Master: Axis of Evil

This was very in one ear and out the other.

And Fiorina, I've, ahem, acquired Demonic Toys.

It's already here... ;) I just need to finish Axis Rising...

Speaking of which:

Puppet Master X: Axis Rising

Leave it up to Charlie Band to somehow make a film featuring a Nazi werewolf puppet named Weremacht boring as f**k. Between the leads hanging out in a house with a guy who looks like a taller Cotton Hill and doing nothing and the irritating as hell love triangle on Nazi side of things, I could barely stay awake.

Awake enough to watch DT? I don't think I am, sadly. Falling asleep already.

Nah, I have to be up early tomorrow morning for work, and the afternoon will be devoted to podcast recording.
