Lazers or Bullets, and why?

I was under the assumption that lasers of any kind in broad daylight would be invisible to the naked eye.

I think you'd be able to see one in daylight if it was powerful enough.

Terminator is an example in which they implement both. The laser guns in the future scenes and standard bullets when they battle in the past.

Ooh, I love both in different ways. The bullets in Aliens and Halo really add to the feel of the experience for me. I like the concept that we've mastered interstellar travel, but we haven't quite moved beyond kinetic projectile. However, I also couldn't imagine Star Wars or The Forever War without lasers. I can't decide.

The Plasma/lazer users in all entertainment that does it with out looking stupid is The Covenant. But that is just me.

But they're not lasers, they're plasma, PLASMA rifles. Plasma is not a Laser.

can you dogde tracer bullets? then how are you gonna dodge something with twice the speed and no mass at all?

I seem to recall the plasma bolts as depicted in Predator films to be a lot slower than say a Star Wars blaster bolt.

I'm going for something along the lines of Terminator plasma rifles.

Which, from memory, are pretty fast.
