Alien: Hong Kong pan & scan (4:3) Laserdisc.  I haven't watched Alien on a classic format for ages.  Was very nostalgic watching Alien in fullscreen, etc.  Brings back memories.

Spirited Away

Miyazaki's last great film, IMO.

^ I agree.

The Fugitive (1993)

First time I got to see it from start to finish. One of the finest thriller/mystery movies of our time.

Sicario

Well, that was great. Really curious to see what Villeneuve does with Blade Runner.

Harry and the Hendersons?!  Wow that takes me back to my childhood.  Does it still stand up now?

The Bride of Frankenstein

Still holds up very well, even if the meta prologue is kind of shit. Karloff really ups the emotion in this one.

(from Tuesday night):

Mars Attacks! (1996)

I learned a lot from this movie upon viewing it yet again. Such as:

1. Jack Nicholson is the both the pres and the Vegas Hotel guy.
2. This movie is a completely obvious pun to the 1950s horror films.
3. This movie is LOADED with current and former stars, even in cameo roles...for example,  Jack Black was the Kansas guy who gets vaporized and labeled a hero by his family, while Christina Applegate was his gf.
4. The aliens' voice is none other than Frank Welker.

A fun watch overall, as always.
