Still working on the assumption that 245409 is a reference to star HD245409, aka Gliese 208, which passed relatively close to our solar system about 500,000 years ago, which would be an apt time for Engineers to be messing about with human life on Earth:

'About half a million years ago Gliese 208 passed within about four light years of the sun.'

The fact that the link from Weyland Industries which sends you to projectprometheus.com/245409 is specifically talking about stellar co-ordinates might back this up.
