I'm still rocking my Gen 1 Oculus Rift. Plays fine with Steam VR but I am curious about more recent headsets.

Quote from: ConfusedAlien on Today at 03:04:19 AMIf this movie was basically District 9 but with aliens, than I am fine with this being cancelled.

Every movie that Blomkamp has made since District 9 (aside from Gran Turismo) is just District 9, but not as good.  He's a one trick pony.

Great.  Now, how about Bruce?  I want some Tron in my Tron movie this time.

Reminds me of this video of some Texas parents who took their kids to see it back in '79.

I particularly find hilarious the dad who's reasoning was "I think my son should see this cause things like that could happen in life, it could be a true story"

Hi everyone,

Your comments have all been taken on board and you made strong arguments. The line of dialogue explaining Dillon's backstory is being added back in. This isn't caving to pressure, you genuinely changed my mind.

Thanks for the feedback.

Quote from: Bloody DisgustingWhich film came out on top, you might be wondering? The original Alien won this particular battle, coming in at #11 on the weekend charts. The Mummy currently sits in the #14 spot.

While Alien scared up $1,563,000 in its re-release weekend and The Mummy pulled in a bit less at $1,040,000, it's important to note that Alien received a wider release. Alien found its way into 1,750 theaters, while The Mummy was re-released into 1,236 theaters. If released in the same amount of theaters, it's pretty safe to say those numbers would be even closer.

I think it's a bit of both, superhero fatigue and how people consume media and entertainment these days...🤔😅

It's crazy to think Ridley Scott was a kid during WW2 and he's still making films and doing interviews in 2024. He didn't even make the film he's most famous for until he was about 42 years old - and that was 45 years ago!
