I just the hope television series won't add something silly for the sake of it.
I think if I recall correctly, in the tremor series, they added some other creatures or something.

I mean sure there is a universe to be explored and there may be other life forms to encounter but I just hope they don't go crazy with it.

That's possible for TV shows, i.e., add more content, if one wants to show as many seasons as possible.
