On a lighter note, Archer might have had a point

http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/airlander-10-the-worlds-largest-aircraft-crashes-as-it-attempts-to-take-to-the-sky/ar-BBvZxuX?ocid=spartandhp

Was just coming on to post this, actually. From what I heard it f**ked up the cab but no actual damage to the blimp.

I want to get tickets, just so I can put on a suit/turtleneck and spend the whole time quoting Archer

I'd actually like a TEC-9 (or alike) and a tactalneck to go airsofting in.

Call Kenny Loggens, coz you're in the Danger Zone

Dangerzone!

Problem is they're too expensive and unlikely to perform that way for what they are. RedWolf wants £500 for theirs! That's how much you pay for a higher end rifle!

Luckily it was only during its second test flight, so there were bound to be problems. Glad Bruce Dickinson's investment is still safe so far.

Also i want to fly in it, so if someone pisses me off, i can through them out Last Crusade style

I think the airship technology is so interesting and so novel. I read about them being used as aircraft carriers in one of the World Wars with this hook device to dock the fighters on. Can't remember it off hand at the minute but I just loved it.

Or drop them out of the floor à la Christopher Walken in A View to a Kill :)

Talking of Archer, I caved and ordered this the other day:

Closest livable exoplanet: (until they dig up some alien) Nice name: Proxima B.

(Nice art):
http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/08/25/scientists-confirm-existence-of-closest-habitable-planet-to-earth

Proxima b is 4.2 light years away, which means it is close enough for robotic exploration in the coming centuries, according to the scientists. "It's not only the closest terrestrial planet found, it's probably the closest planet outside our solar system that will ever be found because there is no star closer to the solar system than this one."

Proxima b is a rocky planet, around 1.3 times the size of Earth, and it orbits its star in just 11.2 days thanks to it only being 5 percent of the distance between the Earth and the sun. The star itself is a red dwarf, around 12 percent of the mass of our sun, and an effective temperature of only around 3,050. So, it exists within the habitable zone of the star, and water could exist there, although this hasn't been confirmed yet.
