Whilst we're talking religion - http://churchandstate.org.uk/2015/09/ny-bishop-rape-shames-abuse-victims/

It's a few months old but still.

I know not everyone who follows a specific religion is a nutjob - on every single side of it - and not every nutjob follows a religion but I do believe that religion doesn't have a place in modern society.

I think religions should be divorced from the ideology that the majority of people follow them for (peace and goodwill and all that) and the fables that are used to tell those ideologies. People just should hold those beliefs and practice that kind of life. The fables are the things that are twisted for ill.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/donald-trump-wants-to-ban-the-internet-will-ask-bill-gates-to-close-it-up-a6764396.html

QuoteDonald Trump has called for the internet to be turned off so that children can no longer use it.

The presidential hopeful said that "We've got to maybe do something with the internet," because it was being used to radicalise people. He said that he would "see Bill Gates" so that he could look into "closing it up".

Speaking at the same event where he called for a "complete shutdown" on Muslims entering the US, Mr Trump laid out a rough plan for stopping the influence of Isis.

Trump responds to criticism over banning Muslims: 'I. Don't. Care'
Children in America are "watching the internet and they want to be masterminds", Trump said in a speech.

"We're losing a lot of people because of the internet," Trump said. "We have to see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what's happening.

"We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that internet up in some ways. Somebody will say, 'Oh freedom of speech, freedom of speech.' These are foolish people."

It's as asinine as the "violent video games make violent people" argument, although with a healthy dose of Trump's own special brand of completely unhinged lunacy thrown into the mix.

Anyone who wants to do a bad thing simply because they saw it in a game or read about it on the web is a menace to start with.

Admittedly I think Trump is really pushing his luck, yet he is still a very strong front runner! which I'm guessing is his appeal to most religious groups? (accept Muslim of course).

Looks like the Sun has been caught out again.

Even if that story is true, it happened on the 23rd of last month! at a time now when people are checked because the whole situation has become a disaster. Had this been months ago then I'm sure he wouldn't have been checked, and it still doesn't push aside the fact that up to at least 800,000 have probably come through unchecked...many months ago.

The Conservative Government are planning to relax laws so that some houses for first time buyers can be built on Green Belt land, but they are pricing may of these houses outside of what 90% can afford. There's still plenty of Brown Belt land they can use and also, plenty of old/ abandoned Industrial sites that they can use first

Both links are the same dude.

From what I'm seeing Trump is just getting stronger and stronger, even in that link it shows support for him. Not saying I agree  with him but, bottom line, he's saying things other politicians wouldn't dare to, things that many people wouldn't dare to, he's challenging the liberal norm. This is why he's getting strong support, he's knows how to work the system, going against the PC norm is a drastic change in pace to virtually all the other runners and many (I think) have been waiting for someone like this. Whether you like him or not, he's showing more balls than the rest, a strong leader, this is why he's doing well, my humble theory.

At the same time, Obama has done completely the opposite and not given anyone any confidence in his leadership, or if he's even bothered lol!

Oh yeah I'm sure he is, he's grabbing headlines big time, whether it will work for him in the long run I don't know. If he did get the top job I doubt he would do everything he's saying anyway, there would be big changes I'm sure, but politicians always lie or grossly exaggerate about what they will do, never believe what any of them say.

Yeah yeah yeah, I'm sure everyone thought Hitler, Geobbels, Himmler, Goering, and Mengele were all courageous and had more balls than most of the North and South German politicians too...

There's a reason the GOP is trying hard to fight back against Trump. They don't want their platform to be recognized as fascist. Trump might just be America's solution to unity. Get the bipartisans to work together to block him! Finally, a house united!

Trump is disqualified from running as President.

You guys have to see it from the pocket book side. How do people get rich? Buy taking the money of any demographic and racist/bigoted Americans is a demographic that you can make billions off of. Hell Trump can even with the nomination with them. I have faith that he can't win the presidency but still this is not a good thing.

The GOP is fascist. They're also sexiest above all else.

Oh so my friends enemy is now my enemy? That's so bad on so many levels. All Trumps doing is proving that America has a lot of assholes... who at any moment could become terrorists. Maybe we should send them on another Crusade. Talk about killing two birds with one stone. Now that would be working together.

The White House can't make that assertion. Under a democracy that is for the people to decide. :P

That's the scariest part. It says something about the populace if they're willing to support that psycho.
