Aren't major leaders suppose to be neutral? you can't be seen to completely favour one specific group of people because you alienate loads of other people and you're suppose to represent everyone equally. Exactly why Obama and co lighting the White House in rainbow colours was a terribly undiplomatic move which may well cost the democrats next year.

That's politics, dude. It's all about towing the company line. A politician who does not stand behind feminism has no chance of being elected as women are the majority of the voting population (as least in the States).

I take it that a good thing happened in canada.
Yep, those taxes and "refugees" sure are great!

I just read that Trudeau recently announced he was proud to be a feminist lol! Canada is so screwed, this guy sounds like a real wet namby pamby.

At this point all I can say is at least the NDP didn't win, they're the closest Canada could get to a communist party (apart from the actual Canadian Communist Party)

I keep forgetting that my explanations are largely ignored in here. This is like trying to explain art to conservatives.

Just like in the world of Islamic progressives, they are largley overshadowed by the extremists like ISIS and the Taliban.

Now Western feminism has run its course for extremism, but thats what people keep talking about as if that's what modern feminism in the West is today.

Radical feminism is needed in places such as India, where a woman's face is burned for being shown. Here, it is not needed, nor is it the normal thought/practice of self-described feminists.

I just get tired of people shaming feminism because of a few dumbasses on the internet.

In sum: the NAFALT fallacy. I've heard it before. It's not just limited to the internet. It's happening in everyday life. Here's your proof:

Granted, feminism isn't to blame in all of these cases, but damned if it doesn't take full advantage of a system that's working in women's favour.

I'm sure you're also familiar with the recent slew of female celebrities like Meryl Streep and Kailey Cuoco who have publicly said they aren't feminists, only to be lambasted by the feminist community because, "they don't understand what feminism is". Because, y'know, Heaven forbid a woman should exercise a choice when it comes to what she wants to think, rather than follow the collective.

The collective is the same thing as anonymous's message: Anybody can be anonymous, because that's what the internet is supposed to provide. The same is to be said with feminism, which is why I view it as egalitarianism in modern times... And I already provided my opinion of those who identify as egalitarians.

True egalitarianism cannot be named after a gender like feminism. By definition, it is not egalitarian in nature.

Today the US Navy sailed within 20 KM of the Chinese man made archipelago. I say we should have ran the ship aground, dropped the shroud, thus revealing the ship to be a mobile McDonald's. Conquest!

Meh, didn't look that bad to me. Kid acting up, cop didn't know his own strength, job got done.

QuoteThe only thing to stop a bad minor with an egg is a good minor with an egg.

This is apparently not the philosophy of a Pennsylvania grocery store that recently displayed a sign stating that minors are not allowed to purchase eggs between Oct. 24 and Nov. 1.

Who else went egg-hucking at least once during their teens?

Some have defended Fields, many pointing out that the videos aren't complete. They don't show what happened before, including what the student did and how many times authorities -- a teacher, a school administrator and finally the officer -- had asked her to get up.

Yet another person getting setup by the PC race card bandwagon. That statement says it all, a teacher, school admin and the cop all tried to get her out nicely but she refused. She got what she deserved.

I just hope the teacher and admin who were present are backing the cop up, and not allowing him to get setup.

Unfortunately we all know how this ends, the officer will lose his job, ruining his life, because of pressure from the PC mob and the race card players. If he doesn't lose his job then there will probably be yet more protests and trouble, because that's how the PC liberals and a certain demographic get their way, by throwing tantrums and screaming until it goes their way.
