I'm still reeling from Raging Dragon referring to me as a 'liberal'.  Since when did having common sense become a bad thing?  Let me stress, I love the States, Route 66 is on my bucket list, but I can't abide those hillbilly, yee hah douchebags who think that anything non white is to be treated as suspect.  I'm sure 90+ % of my colonial brothers and sisters don't think the same.  I simply find the whole 'dey took our jerbs, we can carry rifles and shotguns MURICA crowd odd, and a slight on our species.  You fear terrorism?  Try being a Brit, especially somebody from a little place called Warrington, where the IRA targeted and killed children on more than one occasion.  I'll even ignore the fact that certain parts of Boston and New York supported the IRA under the guise of being "Freedom Fighters" we can let that shit go.  But don't climb on some pulpit, and spout your freedom yet hold right wing ideals, you are anything but free.  Bunch of racist, narrow minded dick faces, tiresome, unimportant fossils of a dying generation.  f**k you.  And this might get me banned, but this is aimed specifically at Raging Dragon.  Go bury your head in the Fox News sand, and more importantly, GO f**k YOURSELF.

I'm a dreamer. Shooting for that Utopian sky. A place where it is illegal to be a hippie.

Meh, could be exiting. Hard to bitch about boredom when you're barely surviving. However I am much more liberal than that. :P

I'm actually about as apolitical as anyone can possibly be. I just have a distaste for the entire subject, especially for blowhards who think that you can only be on the right or left, and if you're not with them, you're against them.

I try to have a set of core values and morals, and fit my politics around that.  This leaves me being conservative in some ways, and liberal in others.

Let's avoid turning this thread into Political Galaxy again. I find it tiresome and unnecessarily inflammatory.

http://news.discovery.com/space/hawking-tries-to-find-black-holes-emergency-exit-150826.htm

QuoteBlack holes, they used to be so simple.

There was a time when, using the rules of general relativity, you could imagine an infinitely-dense singularity surrounded by a gravitational zone of no-escape called the "event horizon." These components, with a few other details, described the basic anatomy of a black hole.

The textbook explanation is fairly clear: nothing, not even light, can escape the gravitational clutches of the black hole's event horizon. It's a one-way ticket; if an astronaut strays too close to the horizon, they get dragged in, eventually falling to his or her doom via the horrific effects of spaghettification.

Although this is an over-simplification, it was a fairly decent explanation about what was going on. But then, in the 1970′s, British theoretical physics guru Stephen Hawking came forward with his bedrock theory of evaporating black holes. And now, as an extension of his theory, Hawking thinks that black holes aren't the one-way street the textbooks have led us to believe.

You don't doll yourself up unless you want the attention. That or this is McDonald's idea of boosting slumping sales.

I never thought I'd hear McDonald's and slumping sales in the same sentence. Is this for real?

Yea it is real. They're not bleeding cash but sales are far under expectations. Worse yet they either have terrible luck or an awful purchasing department. They're paying top dollar for lesser ingredients. They're paying twice as much for iceberg lettuce than any other joint for top tier greens. Though fresh vegetables is a small part of expenses these do add up and is representative of McDonalds problems. It's also a symptom of trying to grow a menu. In fact the menu has way too many items and it's costing them a lot. Still the biggest problem is getting people into the seats and with all of the "do not eat fast food" PSA's; McDonalds is unfairly taking it in the face.

Also the truth is that it can't retain it's competent workers and has become (pick your city)'s public restroom for the homeless and notorious crowd. They really do have to put their foot down already. Perhaps McDonalds problem is in the fact that it is an institution. However that buck an hour pay raise isn't going to stop the productive workforce bleed they have.

Mm, I do agree. The whole McCafe thing seems really stupid, on that note. You're a fast-food joint, McDs, not Starbucks. Why are you trying to compete with them? Stick to what you're good at.

Net migration to the UK has reached record levels, reaching 330,000 in the year to March, according to the Office for National Statistics.
The figure - the difference between the number entering the country and those leaving - is more than three times higher than the government's target.

I wanna move to New Zealand, the furthest I can get from this utter disaster waiting to happen  -_-

And on another note, yet another cop is pretty much executed by a black male! I think America is close to war considering the recent executions of the two media reporters and the constant attacks on white people I've seen plastered all over Facebook. Something is gonna snap big time here, this sounds horrific. The amazing thing is, most of this kick started after they took down the Confederate flag! as if that was a pardon or green flag for people to think they can run riot and do whatever they want.
