It's a tool that the haters use to rally hate against people they do not like. To win war you must remove the adversary's ability to make war and that includes removing symbols of their power. This is however just the first step to defeating rebel politics and economics otherwise known as southernomics. Which really is the true evil that the south was.

Yeah true but the point is, or the agreement was, removal of the flag on State buildings. So why are certain groups trying to have it removed from everything, including personal use (because you know now there will be lots of trouble and confrontations all over the place). It also annoys me that companies jump on the PC bandwagon and just ban or remove things in knee-jerk recations.

Its all sneaky politics anyway. The SC Governor, Nikki Haley, is currently at the start of her second term right, it ends in 2019. Had this flag controversy cropped up near the end of her first term as Governor, I guarantee she wouldn't have pushed this move to remove the flag because it would have probably affected her re-election. But because she's at the start of her second term, another 4 years to go and she probably knows she won't even try for a third, she can do whatever she wants without any real comeback...I think. Dunno how American politics work, if you can be voted out midway through a term or whatever.

Companies jump on it because they are fearful of the almighty boycott and rightly so.

All politicians can be impeached for legal or ethical reasons and there is also a recall option in many states where you can get enough legal signatures to call the procedure. The Gary Davis recall is a prime example that put the Arnold in powa in da state of kaliforna.

The people living in the South aren't that stupid. The reason racism was so prevalent in the south and not as much in the North was that the economic policy of the South was anti-worker to the extreme. People of the time knew it was either them or the slaves. They thought that as long as the powers that be had slaves to treat like shit that they wouldn't notice the working class. If import slavery didn't exist, there would still have been slavery in the south. Straight up Americans would have been slaves inside of their own county.

Interesting, so in a way, you could say that you shouldn't blame the people of the south for slavery, sounds like they were forced into it.

QuoteNobody likes having violent or scary dreams, these night visions may serve an important purpose for your mental health.

As a new video from New York Magazine, "The Good Side of Bad Dreams," explains, some sleep researchers have proposed that bad dreams serve as a form of emotional release, allowing us to let go of the stresses and anxieties that plague us in our waking lives.

What I dislike are angry dreams that raise blood pressure and make me feel stressed the f**k out. No way that is good for health.
