Might as well visit the comment section of any U.S. news site (preferably FOX News or Washington Journal).

I don't think Putin had the guy shot. Very easy for someone to kill Nemtsov and have Russia think it was Putin to cause an uprising just before that all important peace rally. It all seems too easy, I doubt Putin would do something that dumb frankly. I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone in his own (Nemtsov's) organisation trying to kick start a revolution.

LA shooting, any thoughts? I have read the officer who fired the shots was not white but I really can't tell in the video. Gotta be honest this is the first police incident I've seen which does clearly show them being what looks to be heavy handed (no second hand accounts from random biased witnesses, we see it happen). One guy, six police officers! and they still couldn't handle the homeless man or a very small skinny female?!

Was five (?) shots really required? did they need to be lethal shots?

There are a lot of those sort of "cop attacks homeless guy" videos all over Facebook these days. It's disturbing, but we have to remember that we don't have all the facts. All the same, it makes you wonder why the hell hostility is used so extensively. At the end of the day, the real problem is a lack of accountability. Some day people are really going to snap and rebel.

I'm down with hubbs on Putin once again here. The whole Western Hemisphere wants Putin to leave, it would be dump to do such a thing. From what I know, he's pretty popular in the Russian Federation.

Don't trust the media, there is so much lying and manipulating in it, it's not even funny.
