Maybe my English is too bad.

What I meant is: It's just what the government what you to believe. Otherwise you wouldn't call a man an idiot who saved a huge country like the Russian Federation and with that a big part of the world too.

He started a war with the Ukraine and continues to exploit Chechnya. Forgive me if I don't kiss his feet.

You blame all the US presidents too for starting wars over the last 50 years.

Besides Putin got some better reasons to do so probably.

Is a Russian patriot defending Putin's Imperialism and calling the USA out on imperialism at the same time?

I'm German.

I think there is a huge difference between imperialism from the US and from Russia.

Yea but with our American imperialism you get fries and a large coke with it. And I hate coke.

Putin on the other hand, I'm pretty sure all you get is a t-shirt... that he very likely was wearing and you have to share it with everyone.

When Gorbatshow received the promise that the NATO won't get any closer to Russia for letting Germany alone, he did so.

Then the NATO took over Romania, Hungary, Poland etc.

And now before they even take the Ukraine, Russia did. which is kinda legit because there do live many Russians already.

Taking something by force isn't right, even if it's necessary in the eyes of the larger power. It's still an act of imperialism.

The question could be how much force was required to take over a country were at least a big part of the people is Russian.

Would you let us know how do you think about US presidents / US imperialism?
