UK still has no plans for ebola screening at airports!

Dr Brian McCloskey, director of global health at PHE, said: "Our robust, well-developed and well-tested NHS systems for managing unusual infectious diseases are all active permanently, and always available and regularly tested and proven to be effective.

LOL! is this country for real?!! I actually think they want us to get it. It has been said that screening at UK airports would be unnecessary! Not only are they still allowing everybody into the fecking country now there is a deadly disease threat on top of it and they still won't stop the flow!!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-29518342

The comments at the bottom here from UK citizens says it all.

UK sending 125m to Sierra Leona in aid! errr we can't afford that Cameron  >:(

UK sending 750 military personnel to Sierra Leone to catch ebola...I mean help out. What about IS on the Turkey border Cameron?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-29542129

America still says risk is low despite introducing screening at airports.

I heard on the BBC today that America will not ban all travel from the affected areas because basically it will some how cost them too much money. Apparently when travel was halted for the SARS outbreak it cost the world 40 billion.

Is Turkey on the side of IS? suspicion grows it seems.

Banning travel is a waste of time because you can't police it.  If someone wants to go to Liberia, they'll just go via another country if they can't go direct.

Well yeah, Jobs was the marketing guy. But there's more to it than just that.

When you're marketing ideas that someone else invented, half the work is already done for you. All you need to do is make it look pretty.

White Cop shoots Black Teen 17 times in St. Louis nearly two months to the day after Ferguson Tragedy.

https://gma.yahoo.com/unrest-st-louis-police-officer-shoots-kills-man-061859179--abc-news-topstories.html

Spoiler
Sorry for the sensational headline. I was practicing my headline skills in case I someday wanted a job with the media.  What I should have typed, and what would have never been printed, and what would have been no less true, was:

Spoiler
Cop returns fire; kills sketchy ass armed thug who attempted to kill him. Case Close. Now Back to Ebola!

[close]

There will be a million protesters who only see 'the headline'. It's like the racial unrest division of the media is trying to pry some of the lime light from the infectious disease division. Forever trying to stir up the uniformed and promote fear.

I think there should be no law in Ferguson ... say for a week or two. Just an experiment on perspective to see how long it takes for it's citizens to either wake up and evolve their social behavior or devour each other in a lord of the flies blood bath of Darwinistic irony.

Too much "No child left behind" bullshit keeping the whole world back from the future.

LOL! excuse me! oh and I think most people are more concerned about people coming from the affected areas. Masses of people are trying to leave Liberia right now.

And if they want to get out they will.

Some of them might even get to the UK, but they best avoid it unless that want to catch a dose of the Miserable Ignorant Pommy f**kwit virus.
