I've heard about the ISIS lately, that the Liberals who were once so keen on bringing all the Canadian soldiers home from Afghanistan... are now kinda having second thoughts (so I hear) with the emergence of this violence being waged by the ISIS, a bad bunch that will wage genocide against anyone who isn't on their side. The kind of people who recently just marched into a Mosque (a holy place in Islam) and murdered 70 civilians in cold blood.

These are the kind of people that need to be stopped. While we Canadians are only going as far as humanitarian aid for now, military intervention is not out of the question. It's not just about some "war against terror" anymore as far as I'm concerned, it's about standing for the most basic of human rights.

Just boils down to what your belief system is.

Do you wait to be attacked over here and respond, do you let your own people die and they kill ten times more in retaliation, the questions go on.  No easy way to respond when being called out by a bunch of psychopaths.

As for Ebola, anyone noticed how its been spread by us voluntarily all over the place, now its gone to Canada and Germany. Am I seriously the only person here that thinks this is kinda not a good idea? Its now in the USA, Canada, Germany, Spain and the UK as far as I'm aware. It was only in West Africa not so long ago for Pete's sake! and we did this ourselves! Is it just me that sees this as utterly stupid?
