Somehow feminists are to blame for this.

I'm not sure how, but they probably are.

Many religious people think they speak for God.

They don't.

Oh he's religious, that explains the craziness.

Quote'If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father.  Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her'

Yup, I was being serious.

There's a great M.D House episode about it.

Oh come on guys, cut the crazy republican politician some slack. I have no issue with abortion however it is what it is. Terminating a pregnancy. I can see why some people would consider that a form of homicide. Well... it's just semantics since a homicide is any death where another human was the cause. aka abortion. Comparing abortion to rape and equating both to power isn't unjustifiable.

Of course in reality it all depends on your point of view. In the end it is all about power.

I'm pro life in most cases as long as it doesn't affect the health of the mother.

Trying to justify rape is a douchebag move on part of the politician.

What about mental health?

Pregnancy always effects the mothers, health, appearance or experience.

And that's why it should be their choice and their choice alone.

And personally I feel that no-one else has a right to force their morality on anyone else and I feel that very strongly.
(Unless it leads a human-being to harm.)

A cell doesn't equal a human being even if it can.

If I'm the father of the child I should have as much a say in it as the mother does.

A single mom whose father bailed is of course a different story.

Anybody can push any morality on anybody.  Its up to the person whether they listen or not.  Just like it is ultimately the mom's choice to get the abortion.  There isn't anything I can ultimately do about it.

Its their choice.

Of course anybody whose pregnancy wasn't caused by rape can avoid the situation all together by birth control.  It is to easy a way out, people should be accountable for their actions.

No you shouldn't. You can make anyone Pregnant but it's her pregnacy.
She has to bear it, you have no right to that which you gave until it is a human being.

In my opinion.

And you can't always rely on Birth control.

Boo-f*ckin-hoo.

He's the one whom got someone pregnant who didn't want to be, or doesn't.

The pill is like 99% effective.  Throw a condom on the dude and its almost impossible.

A father should have a say.  It takes two to try to conceive a child even if it happens accidently.  It shouldn't just be her decision because she carries the child.

I respect your opinion, but it raises my eyebrow to no concern of the father... that's kind of cold if he cares that much and is in a decent economic situation.
