... I'm no expert on how a fertilizer plant is built or what one is supposed to contain, but what the hell would combust like that?

Wow. But what I don't get is, is it just an accidental explosion, or did somebody target it?

I'm betting on accidental, fertilizer is highly explosive, especially if this was a chemical fertilizer plant. There's been quite a few explosions due to fertilizer plants in the past.

A fertiliser plan contains fertiliser which is often a component used in explosives.

I learned something new today. When I think of the stuff I think of what goes in a garden.

Okay, well it's a tragedy regardless  :(, but I'm relieved that it's likely to just be an accident.

Well I dunno if they've got any further but I'm putting my money on Muslim extremists working on their own without Taliban links or knowledge of their actions.

Of course, jump to the most obvious conclusion without evidence. Classic.

Obvious maybe but I'm sure a high chance. Why would it be domestic? at the moment there are plenty of people abroad who could have done it, Libyans is my other choice.

According to what source exactly, angry Arabs? Angry Afghanis? There's no reason to think it can't be domestic. It could very well be just a bunch of angry posers claiming to be anarchists.
