No, you gave us a list of people who have committed atrocities and who happen to be atheist. Maybe there's a list of people who like the colour blue who have committed atrocities. Do they give people who like the colour blue a bad name?

People killing for religion are in far greater numbers than people who kill and happen to be atheist.

Well, if you look at a place like Ontario the population of atheist consists of 16.3%, all of the rest of the population is religious one way or another. Therefore more killing in the name of religion than atheism wouldn't be surprising at all, because there are far less atheist.

But I do agree, why blame the religion or lack of when it's the individual that should be being blamed? Might as well blame the colour blue too (mai favourite).

Cvalda is pointing out that Doom was referring to that post, and not reading it correctly.

Doom says that Vickers said that people being killed in religion are greater than anyone else. Doom is wrong, because Vickers said that the numbers are higher than people who just happen to be atheist.

Tippett Studios lays off 40% of its artists

More than 50 visual effects designers were let go, leaving a staff of 100 full-timers still working at the studio, whose recent work is on display in such blockbuster films as Ted and Twilight: Breaking Dawn.

"We're hibernating, figuring out a way to reinvent and scale down because there's a lag in work obviously and there's such upheaval in the visual effects industry, period," Jules Roman [CEO and president] said.

Damn. :(
