I'm closer to nerd than fan, so I went with the former.

Though 'nerd' to me generally conjures up images of social retards, which is all well and truly behind me.

i dont reall think of film fans as nerds, there are always people who take it to extremes that cant be avoided.

i'm a sci-fi/fantasy nerd. I read sci-fi and fantasy books, i've got a subscription to popular science, i have a "real" jedi costume (not some halloween $29.99 crap you get at wal-mart)... I'm a nerd
