When the predator vision shows green on some of the humans, as it does the alien all green in that vision mode, could it mean they have an alien inside them or is it simply a different vision mode altogether?

Some of them have no green but they are all very much alive at this point. (right before the girl gets sliced by the disc and impaled onto the wall.)

We are matching to the original Predator for the colors, and it also depends on how hot the person was when they were being films.
