even though I enjoyed the film, I remember reading a similiar script for this when I was ten, but it was set in space, and the Preds attack a small village. The one key moment I remember though was when the Predator, quote "stupidly", unquote, fires his gun at an alien and causes the ship to crash. Now the quote was from Peter Briggs and I am amlmost sure it was him as he pitched this idea to fox. does anybody remember this. Also The main problem with the story is that is breaks continuity with the Aliens movies. In Alien we believe they have never come across a creature like this before that's why they send ripley and co to investigate but we now know that the human race has come into contact with these creatures.
