No, no. the left arm i's quite literally turned 45 degrees onto it's side in Prometheus.

I don't want to disregard your observations but what makes you think so?
To me it looks pretty similiar, except some minor differencies like in the "cockpit-dome", the flatter shape of the "hammerhead" and the left "antenna-tube-thingy"'s thickness etc.

I think there is very little difference in shape and color. It's a different angle/perspective that makes it appear different.

This is most likely CGI...and those images will look different than a scale model that is filmed.

You can see the same basic coloring (although the photos on the site are faded) and design.

We are so accustomed to seeing certain views of the ship that when you see it from a different angle, it looks different...but I would be very surprised if this CGI model isn't designed to look/be the exact same dimensions as what the original was.
