Yea this is bullshit. The tag itself got swallowed. Not so much murder as another case of shark rape!

Great Whites don't go down that deep without something pulling them down... Shark tags are usually placed in an area of the dorsal fin which won't come out by itself for a very long time.

Data devices falling off are a pretty common occurrence. They are designed to fall off. This wasn't a name and address tag but a data collection device. Tearing one off isn't that hard. However for speculations sake, what could have done it? First, in any case the trackers new owner seemed to be happy cruising at sea level to a depth of around 300 feet and did so for 8 days. Great whites are also very capable of diving to depths of 1200+ meters. 1900 feet isn't a problem. 78F is also plausible inside the belly of a warm blooded white shark. If the shark was killed and eaten it was most likely by another great white shark. However considering it was a female, and sharks have no hands, my money is on happy time.

Man the more and more you see these once reputable scientific institutions propagate speculation; one can't help but wonder if Prometheus was a social satire on the current state of the scientific world and where it is f**king headed to.

Oh that is bullshit. We all deduced that same damn conclusion. Still there is no evidence that the shark was killed. Of course documentary and mockumentary pretty much mean the same damn thing now. :P

Why did the cpr squirrel guy remove the video?

Im pretty sure that was the point, reinforced by the main theme of the hubris of man.

Listen here, a Great White Shark that can eat or attack a 9 foot shark... is STILL a scary thing.

Great whites bite each other regularly as part of normal social interaction (probably particularly around mating), that's a big part of the reason why their skin's so thick. Its toothy little friend might have come round to say hello, and left with a mouthful of tag. Doesn't necessarily mean the tagged one was eaten.

Plus, as Whiterabbit pointed out, these tags can sometimes come off on their own. Certain sharks, including the great white, are well known for swallowing floating detritus.
