The really sweet old man who lives next door to me died.

I didn't know him that well, but he was always nice to me, and I sometimes shoveled his walk. We ate at his restaurant a few times, and there were all these pictures of him on the wall with Wayne Gretzky and John Candy, people like that.

Damn, this is a depressing way to start off the day.
