The right hand's fingers are actually extended into tubes or something. That looks cool.

They just coincide. You can still see the nails. But yeah, I think it was intended. Really cool.
I love the dry, unnatural colors of the photo. Really eerie.

The Alien just has it's hand resting at that spot.
