But that's not what happened.  If you watch frame by frame, the alien grabbed her with its left arm and used its right for, presumably, hauling itself and Dietrich up the wall.

It's from the galleries on the home releases. I spent a week or so going through the boxsets capping all of them from the Blu-rays. There's actually a lot of stuff in there that really isn't shared around that often.

So many images to enjoy. It's fun picking out the goofs - a rod puppet shot from A3 somehow managed to end up in the photo galleries for ALIEN (1979).

As LT said, it climbs up with Dietrich under one arm.
