I would say it was shame he wasn't brought back for the sequel, but considering how painful I found the few scenes I saw from it, maybe he lucked out.

While not as bad as i remembered from the Cinema, it does feel rushed, with plot reasons coming from out of nowhere. No way a satisfactory ending to the Skywalker Saga
