SPOILERS POSSIBLY FOR JURASSIC WORLD

Spoiler

Apologies if this has been posted already, but I don't remember seeing it before today.

Also no idea if that's a muzzle or just like something to keep the animatronic from breaking during like shipping or something.

Overall though I like the way that raptor looks.

Looks good! :)

That raptor is too plain. I'm sorry, but there's no excuse, none, for not having feathers.

Aside from the fact that they didn't have them in the first three movies, but whatevs.

They did in JP3. Also, given how far dinosaur research has come since then, combined with the fact that this is a brand new movie, they should have feathers. From what I understand, Transformers: AoE's brief dinosaur montage has JW beat for accuracy, and that's saying a lot!

Dude, it's logical for the JP universe. :-*

I see enough people complaining about just the idea of feathered dinosaurs existing that it would be stupid for them to have feathers in the new JP. Since it takes place in like a restarted JP that actually more or less worked, it makes perfect sense that the raptors don't have feathers still cause people just don't like them having feathers I guess. Why would an amusement park design creatures that the common people don't want to see?

Point is there is still at least one without feathers in JP3, not all of them have feathers.

They used it as a way to differentiate between the males and females in the film. My point is that, and I've always maintained this, if you're going to portray animals that used to actually exist on this planet, then they should be respected as such and be portrayed properly, from a physical standpoint.

That was Rich's post :P But since you brought it up, have a look at this.

The commoners likely have no clue what to expect exactly, so I doubt feathers would make them go see something else.

Not in 14 years.

It did in JP 3, and personally I think it worked to some extent, uber-powerful Spinosaurus aside.

It's been long established they're a different species or different cloned version of the same raptors.

So the only way you'll see feathers is if they release a movie where they show InGen's other cloned raptors. In Jurassic Time Hammond explains there are 3 different breeds of raptor on sorner.
