Simple my friend: Bale's Batman is f**kin' ridiculous, Heath's Joker is overrated, the pencil scene is laughable and yet everyone loves it, the whole movie is overrated.

I feel the same way about Batman Begins. Everyone loved it, but it was a piece of shit.

I consider TDK to be good and nothing more than good. As in - it's an alright movie. In my eyes there's just nothing... 'groundbreakingly OMFG that's some brilliant and thought-provoking shit right there' about it.

You make some good points I overall like the movie and yer now that I think about it the only reason I still watch it is due to the joker (which yes is overatted due to you know what) but I still think he is the best joker and is/was a amazing actor.
