Yep, but the Pred seems surpised. Despite his vision mode than makes an alien as visible than a light in complet dark  (well maybe he wasn't in the right vision mode, why not hehehe)

BUT, still that if this pic is from AvP Three world War, the alien  has less than 1s before getting owned. acid blood? Predator's blood cancel the acid effects in the UE 

EDIT: if the alien headbite takes as long than in the films, then he has pretty much time to react
+ given the huge amount of armor the Pred wears (n00b  ) i wouldn't be too worry about the tail, more about the headbite (given the fact i don't thing this pred has a helmet  than resist to the xeno inner jaw)
