Its not a grenade launcher, but its AWEsome, according to the link.

If its UNSC, then probably the Assault Carbine, like the article said.

I really hope that isn't the carbine. A carbine is a shortened rifle, and that gun doesn't look very compact.

You haven't noticed that stuff like that is big in Halo fandom? It's not like Call of Duty's gun roster additions, most often in Halo, weapon additions prove to be massive game-changers in one fashion or another.

Grunts look a little strange but that's probably due to the improved graphics engine.

That gun looks really nice as well, can't wait for more info at E3.
