Sin City

That there is one damn fine coat you wearin

The Witches

Scared the shit out of me when I was a kid, still leaves me feeling unsettled today

Godzilla: Final Wars

I get why fans tend not to like this one, but it's so over the top and insane that it ends up being incredibly entertaining for me. The different approach is pretty refreshing after how relatively uninspired I found the Kiryu films to be. And Captain Gordon is a beast.

Rewatched that one a few nights ago. The damn movie is so overexposed that I found myself having to squint through half of it. :D

I think that's just how Kitamura shoots his movies. Even his relatively restrained horror film The Midnight Meat Train had bits that looked like that.

One of the few times a sequel was better than the original.

Deep Rising
A fantastic B-Movie. Fun to watch every time and what a cast.  "Now What"

Monkey Shines
A brilliant Romero film, Deserves more love. Although i do prefer the Original ending to the Theatrical version. It just has that extra sting

The Horror Network
An intriguing Anthology film. A lot different to what i was expecting

X-Men: Dark Phoenix
A better retelling of the story than Last Stand but still not the greatest. Although wraps things up nicely

Honestly one of my all-time favourite movies. So many great lines.

"Like a fine wine, I'm ageing gracefully, thank you."
"We got a contract: 20 hours out and back. You beat my engine man to death, it's gonna take a hell of a lot longer, which is OK by me since overtime'll run you double rate."
"OK, I'll say it one more time for the hearing impaired..."
"'If the cash is there, we do not care.' What kinda life philosophy is that, man?!"
"YOU MEAN WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE BECAUSE YOU SCREWED UP ON THE MATH?!"
"This is turning out to be one hell of a day..."
"What're you lookin' at?"
"Well, I guess we're stuck on this island!"

All that and a woman gets pulled down a toilet.

Great cast. I'll never tire of seeing Treat Williams on a jet-ski with a shotgun, shooting a giant Kraken.

It's one of those movies that could've easily been so bad, but wasn't.

It's cheesy, but good cheese.

Peter Jackson's King Kong: Extended Edition - Blu-ray (4/5)

One of the most amazing Blu-rays I've ever seen. And the movie still holds up so well visually.

The Dark Knight Rises - Blu-ray (2/5)

Nice transfer. Sub-par plot.

What I'm getting from this thread is that I need to revisit Deep Rising sometime.

You bet your ass you do.

Did anyone mention it (somehow) contains the coolest movie gun of all time after the Pulse Rifle?

F*ck it, now I'm gonna have to watch it again.
