I find the Alien to be more compelling. It doesn't need superior technology or anything like that. It is a weapon.

Yer more intruging to watch in a film while predator is still good not very intruging unless you go into extended universe of course.

Also, the Alien franchise is much more sci-fi based, so I like that more.

The new Predators film is more sci fi than the older ones but it is still not very sci fi compared to alien

They're pretty much animals that only have 1 instinct: kill.

Ya sure sounds bad ass, but compared to a Predator the Alien is just some unintellient animal. Predators have a complete civilization, and you know, they arent born by ripping out of someones chest.
