Other movies that would have worked with aAliens or Predators

How about THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS (which happens to be directed by Stephen Hopkins of PREDATOR 2)?  Replace the lions with Aliens.  Distinguish the two by giving Ghost a smooth head and Darkness a ridged head. Get McFarlane Toys to sell the individual figures with bases that combine to make a diorama.

or Aliens vs Freddy:  Like to see what happens when his little bladed glove melts away from alien blood. lol 

I would like to see Aliens Vs Predator in a Jurasic setting.

I am Legend except that there are no wild animals and the bad guys are Aliens.  Maybe its a little spin off of the novel Aliens: Earth Hive but damn it would still make a good flick.

Of course I think the ultimate Alien Vs Pedator movie would be to show the home world of the Aliens for a change, a bunch of Colonial Marines trying to capture a Queen for that damn bio weapon, and in the midst of it all a ship full of Predators shows up to try to capture a Queen for them selves to try to set up a new training colony. but rated hard R and lots of blood and guts and no mushy back story. and at least two hours long.

Problem with your last part is 1) most people dont want the mystery surrounding the aliens removed by showing a homeworld, and 2) The only two parties who showed interest in wanting the alien as a weapon was Weyland-Yutani and General Perez and his scientist buddies. Neither party really had proper access to a group of Colonial Marines. And General Perez seemed like the kind of guy who would rather kill the aliens then risk them spreading, and not willingly sacrifice his men.

Well make a world that has been overrun with bugs then at least it would make for  a better story then the last two attempts in my opinion.  I would like them to make at least one good hard R rated blood and guts AvP war movie and with decent actors for a change.

Normally I would agree with the sentiment about not wanting to destroy the mystery surrounding the aliens, but in a way, Aliens already did back in 1986.
