No pet dogs or cats?

2 sub 20 pound dogs that are mostly indoors. One hunts mice and low flying flies.

Release the beasts! They'll leave the garden once they learn there are predators (albeit cute ones) around. 

I think there's just too many burrows.  We have a bunch of fruit trees, and they've just lined the property with different burrows as close to the trees as possible.  Man, it's so frustrating. 

My husband went out and bought this serious looking "pellet gun" (with a scope, no less  ), and that did the trick for one season.  But 4 months later, they just reappeared with a vengeance.  These things are insidious.

haha poor little critters.  I think it was a Dodo episode where a person was having an issue with a groundhog and instead of removing it, they planted a garden for it.  Mind you, it was only one.

A month ago I purchased a cart of organic blueberries. Two seeds were left in the bowl when I had finished eating them. They were not intentionally dug out from the berries, they just ended up that way. Yesterday I noticed they had germinated, as I stuck them in a plastic bag with a moist napkin in it, and was keeping them near a window with sunlight.

I moved them in a planter outside. Hopefully early spring isn't too hard on them.
