Trigeminal nerve is acting up on the right side of my face causing intense pain in the eye, ear, and jaw.

Currently on both non-steroidal AND steroidal anti-inflammatories, one for the pain, one for the inflammation.

And the painkillers themselves make me fee miserable.

It is not fun.

Car isn't starting this morning. Looks like a flat battery. Shame as I'm supposed to be going into work today, and we don't have jumper cables.

I am. lol It's a hassle. Can't be doing with having to go get the battery replaced, and I hate f**king about inside of the bonnet.  It's bad enough everyone at works thinks we're just skiving off at home. But it's no more so than I would be skiving off at work when it's quiet.
