A few of my friends have bought the new Xbone on release but have since sold it on.

The reasons were...something to do with the TV output or whatever not working on UK TV's?

Not being able to play online with 360 owners.

Not being able to play older 360 games (this is a huge let down).

Not having a good games download section or not having Indie games?.

I'm not overly sure what they mean with a few of them as I still have the 360 and I'm not up on all the gadgets and download tech (I only play the odd games).

They all said they were very disappointed which scares me as I don't want a PS4.

Honestly, they should have known all that for awhile now.

There aren't a whole lot of game out yet...because it just got released. The PS4 does have more game, most of which are indie games.

I agree that the lack of backwards compatibility sucks, but if you can just keep your 360 around, its not that big of a problem.

It's a fine piece of entertainment. I've had it since day one, and it runs smoothly, the voice commands are pretty awesome, and BF4 plays great on it(save for the occasional server hiccup).

It seemed pretty obvious to me that they were never going to do that from the beginning. There isn't any gossip that you have to follow.
