So to those who saw it, what'd you think of the creatures? Really looking forward to the variety of beasts this one seems to be offering.

I liked them a lot. They kinda share the qualities of a Xenomorph and a Scorpion.

The creatures felt very real, part of an environment, and result of an evolutionary process. All of them. Very cool stuff.

The effects were quite good too. Except for the baby alien dog, all the animals felt organic and realistic in their movements.

Less awesome I guess. Bioraptors were very fresh while those are more generic. I also don't think  It's the best film in series. Not even second best, though it's still very good. And it looks very interesting from certain side

The ending is one of those instances where he has to chose what to do next, as the mythology of Chronicles that is touched up on at beginning of this one is unresolved.

Plus the director wants the sequel to be in the Underverse.
