Where do the Predators come from?

interesting point ... in short .. no one knows untill a worthy film solidifies such knowledge .
ive decided the director of elysium could make an excellent predator and alien vs predator film. given a good script n budget.

Probably evolved on a tropical planet similar to dinosaur Earth.

In all seriousness, if their thermal vision is natural and not surgically implanted, it makes more sense for them to have come from somewhere relatively cool, otherwise they'd be permanently blinded.
