My iTunes library has grown exponentionally in my absence from AvPG. I actually listen to music seriously now.

In Flames - The old stuff, haven't listened to the new stuff b/c eveybody in the metal communities flamed it. Whoracle, The Jester Race, Clayman, Colony, all fantastic albums. I'm gonna try and get physical copies somehow..
At the Gates
Opeth
Nile (this is my nuff said band)
Metallica
Megadeth
Slayer
Anthrax
Exodus
Carcass
The Black Dahlia Murder (metalcore is a guilty pleasure of mine)
Lamb of God (the two new albums sucked, most of the earlier stuff is great tho)
Buckethead (not his ambient chill-sounding stuff)
Mercyful Fate
Cynic
Protest The Hero (not necessarily metal, but still really flippin awesome)
Tool
Rage Against The Machine
The Mars Volta (not metal at all but I think they are awesome)
Mastodon

I like alot of other stuff that is older and not metal.
I also might have used present tense for bands that have broken up, whoops if I did.

Don't think I've heard that one. I like Faded from the Winter quite a bit. Perfect song for long car rides.

Some mighty fine bands in that list.  :)
I recommend more of that Swedish melodeath stuff (like Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity..) and if you like the big four, be sure to check out Germany's big three - Kreator, Sodom and Destruction.
