EDIT: I love that if you're playing solo the two AI teammates are actually synthetics. That's a great little touch.

Quite a few going up today as the embargo ended an hour or so ago. Ours is on the way too.

idk. I like how it looks, but gameplay feels "sometime".

The only reason to play AFE is the lack of other Alien games in the near future.

Now I am ready to hear criticism from skeptics. Come on!

This is a new model rather than the old model of Alien games. So i welcome that the focus is on the gameplay replay value rather than a full scripted AAA title game as we had before. We all know how that turned out.
So i think slow and stead is where this goes. Who knows, it could be a better outcome.

I'm not thrilled about the Runner Aliens, makes the small spaces less claustrophobic and menacing. I can see the Warriors crawling if your in air duct or something, but that room they csn fully stand up in.

What is there to criticize if the game is doing what was promised and it does not seem worse than other dedicated TPSers?
