Long ago a friend was being chased by two bullies. They went out onto the ice covered lake... that was melting. I was looking for my friend to hang out then I heard yelling out at the lake and that is where found them. I went out on to the ice to help him. Along the way my leg actually fell through a bit, I was spooked but kept moving forward. As the bullies were taunting my friend I came up behind one of them and started a fight. The fight continued until his own leg partly fell through the ice and he was spooked and retreated back to land, his friend followed. I guided my friend back across the melting ice to a different beach head. I partly fell through once more along the way. I watch the T.V and see how many people fall through the ice and drown every year on that same lake.
