I had the same exact thought. Anne-Moss is gonna die early on the series or even before the events of the series and we're gonna see flashbacks of her and that'll be the extent of her performance.

Watching the sequel trilogy again. I know they're massively flawed movies, but I haven't paid much attention to the criticisms because I wanna have fun while I watch 'em, and I don't much like bitching in general.

That being said...

Why did Poe destroy all the surface cannons on the Dreadnought if Leia was never gonna approve the bombing run? Poe's talking like the plan is all set, and then Leia says, "Okay, you're done, let's get outta here!" Like, done what? Vandalizing a warship for no apparent gain? Makes no sense.
