IMO, Halo never died. Every three years we get a new full game (CE, 2, 3, Reach). Some people just happened to think that a good spinoff from an other company (Wars) and an overpriced expansion (ODST) (And Bungie didn't want to charge $60, that was Micro$oft) were "milking" the franchise. I personally love all six games, and am excited to see 343's first Halo game whenever it comes out!

Not interested in Wars since I never could get into Real Time Strategy (except in Emperor, Battle for Dune)
Will probably want to get ODST since the price has gone down.
ODST has the same graphics as Halo 3, right? As well as all the map packs?

Yeah. All 24 Halo 3 multiplayer maps, and it's actually a pretty solid game.

Wars was excellent. It is a very simplified RTS, so even non RTS fans like me can pick it up and play with ease. But, if you don't like it, whatever, everyone has their own opinion.

I loved Sandbox for forging as well. Though, now that I'm playing Reach, I'm more into Forge World, since it has a lot more features and options. Plus, it is HUGE!  But sandbox is still great, and one of my favorite maps in Halo history.

Though nothing beats Blood Gulch Coagulation Hemmeridge. That was my one complaint with Halo 3, no Blood Gulch. And don't tell me Valhala is blood gulch! Even Wars had Blood Gulch!

Definitely worth the buy Kinda short, but great campaign.
