I like it, but it's considered the worst of the worst in the US.

That might be why I like it.

I've been thinking of what kind of pet I should get when the time comes to move out into my own apartment (if I can, even though I don't think it's technically legal to make no pet rules, but they can just not let you in), because I don't want room mates but I don't want to be homesick either and animals are better than people anyway.

It boiled down to cockatiel but they'd be too noisy, rabbit but chewing my stuff would send me into demon mode, then I was looking at either Uromastyx or Blue-Tongue Skink as neither require live feeders because Uro's are herbivores and Skinks can eat stuff like eggs and chicken instead for their protein, but I was concerned about their heat requirements and somewhat about enclosure size.

... then I learned of Pink-Tongue Skink though...

It's... perfection, less heat requirement and you can trade some enclosure length for height which works for me. That availability though, might be able to find it at expos around Toronto I've been to before with my brother who loves reptiles.

It is a highly taboo word in Canada... and yet I have a bottled up fondness for the word.

It's pretty much considered the worst of the worst here too.

Yeah it's kind of like assuming Americans like saying the n word because of rednecks.

I always thought pleb was a British thing.

The colonies inherited it.

I was replying to FI's post where I think she typed pebbly? Not certain anymore. But pleb is definitely new to me. I've never heard it this side of the Atlantic.

My apologies. In my defence I know a bunch of you who do. Though having looked at the etymology I'm regretting it now.

Your significant other commented on it after you, which is what I replied to, but she later deleted it. So now I'm just replying to the clouds!
