I picked this up a few weeks ago, and am hoping to read it this week. Its by Lee, so I'm assuming it's good. :)

i guess that'ws if you are going by the assumption that Lee was a good writer, i can't judge myself, but i've heard many people call him a mediocre writer,

Impossible to say.

But I have a soft spot for 1602 since it was the one that started it.

For nostalgia mines probably this:

I searched for this in London comic shops for so long before I found it. I really wanted it for some reason.

But the one I'm most glad that I own is probably Absolute Watchmen or Daredevil #5.

I can't remember why I bought this.

Maybe cause "ravaged by the ringer" is a hilarious title.

But when you read it, the ringers just this huge victim whos basically being forced to fight spidey or else the bomb strapped to him will detonate.

Spidey spends the whole issue ignoring this guy whos clearly screaming for help.

I MUST READ THIS

Actually what am I saying, my most beloved comic that I own is definitely this:

I could read it forever. It makes me sad that Miller doesn't write like this anymore.

So I'm really enjoying that old Hulk book I bought. Basically a bunch of old stories with Stan Lee narrating in between each one.

Anyone have any good (and cheap) Marvel TPBs you want to recommend to me?

You might able to find book collections of the older Thor, and Captain America comics as well.

That would be cool. The Hulk one I'm reading is over 30 years old.

EDIT: The story with the Hulk and the Fantastic 4 was really cool! He meats the Avengers next! :)

You should check out J. Michael Straczynski's run on Thor. ;)

The movie have borrowed plenty of stuff from his run on the series.
